Directions to
Monte Sano State Park:
From I-565, take
the Washington St. Exit (#19C). After exiting 565 to Washington St. turn
right onto Pratt. (Go through first light at
bottom of exit
ramp and the next light is Pratt.) Continue on Pratt to 5 way
intersection. Go straight through the intersection. After a red
light or two, you'll come to a stop sign with a blinking red light.
Go through that light and begin your climb to the top of the mountain.
Once you reach the top of the mountain, you'll see signs pointing left for
Monte Sano State Park.
Follow the signs
for camping.
There is a gate
which has a code to enter and exit by.
Between the hours
of 5 and 9 PM, you can register at the Host camp site (first campsite to the
left inside the gate).
After 9 PM, the
camp Host will post directions at the gate.
